"Laid back. No stress"

Lovely views. Relaxing friendly atmosphere. Actually saw dolphins. Amazing. Close to Roker hotel for meals and bungalow cafe for fab breakfasts. Great location

2 flights of stairs but worth it for view

"WRWC stay"

We were greated by a lovely lady who made us very welcome. Our overall stay in Roker was great we came to Sunderland for the women Rugby world cup and The Balmoral was ideally situated

I thought the Balmoral was very dark and very tired but linen was clean and the views were just great Not quite what I was expecting in appearances, outside space was also untidy

Location right on sea front with seaview, cafes bars and restaurants all in very short walking distance. Nice stroll along Ports side into City centre if you dont mind walking 30/40 mins. Host really friendly and nothing to much trouble and replies to messages promptly.

Excellent location; genial & helpful hosts with sound local knowledge; the room was immaculately clean.

Perhaps provide a large bottle of multi-purpose soap / shower gel / shampoo. Wasn't a problem though!
