Arlan House, Central Basingstoke Hotel

Perfect location.

I liked everything.

Easy to find. Room was a good size and had everything needed for our one night stay.

Don’t really have any complaints it was to be extremely fussy the toilet roll holder is lose and wonky but that really didn’t effect our stay or rating, lol!

Close to town centre - couple of minutes walking distance, secure code access to property and room, on site parking Comfortable bed, lovely shower, Facilities included fridge, iron & ironing board plus tea/coffee supplies

There was a vent missing on the wall but didn’t impact our stay

The room was clean, comfortable and perfect for an overnight stay. It’s so close to Festival Place for shopping, also not too far from train station if needed. We stayed because of seeing a concert at the Anvil theatre which is on outskirts of Festival Place - easy to get to and from there.

Slight confusion over the car parking and which area was allocated to Arlan House. The car parking area is shared by other properties. It would have been helpful to have signs up to show allocated areas.

Comfortable bed, good shower with a handrail (very important!), a fridge, plenty of sockets.and lights. Clean and welcoming with tea and coffee facilities with kettle, and biscuits and water in fridge. We were able to park right outside which was very helpful. Also had a ground floor room which made it a lot easier for us.

Everything was fine, the only thing was the lack of certainty about the ability to park nearby.
