People were very nice. Enjoyed our stay beautiful location

They were able to check us in late so that was nice of them. The animals were cool to see in the morning and the view from the room is stellar

was hard to find in the dark and GPS didn't help.

We loved our stay at Elagh Cottages. Karen was really friendly and helpful and the cottage was very nicely done, so we felt comfortable straight away. I loved the muted tones and unfussy feel, and with the big doors looking out, it made the space feel really spacious and open. Great settees and beds, and such a quiet spot - we slept so well. It had everything we needed. Even though it's self catering, there was milk, tea, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, shower wash, etc., provided. The shower was great, nice big fluffy towels, and everything was spotless and clean. The views were amazing, as were the donkey visits right outside the door. This is a great spot for visits to Derry and the Inishowen peninsula. Wild Ireland is just minutes away - we think its a "must do" place to go (we spent 4 hours there!). I'd highly recommend Elagh Cottages as a great place to stay if you're planning a trip to the area. We'll definitely book there again on our next trip there. Thanks Karen! 😊❤️

Nothing - it was all perfect for us.

The place is located in the countryside of Derry, about 15 minutes drive from the centre. Two beautiful donkeys welcome you when you take the driveway to the cottage. Karen, the owner, shows your accomodation and she's always avaliable for anything you might need. Te appartment we took had everything and it was spotless. The beds were incredebly comfortable too. It also has an outside table for a relaxing sunset in the evening. The best is the view you get in the morning when you come out of the appartment!

There's a little problem with the water pressure of the shower but if you ask Karen, she will inmeditely tell you how to solve it.
