Car parking was a joke. two sets of stairs. Had said on booking site was disabled. No Chair in room

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and airy. The food supplied was a good quality. We would certainly stay here again when in this area.

My father had paid and booked online through booking.com I was charged again when I booked in. We ended up paying twice. I have now been reimbursed the £100 I was wrongly asked to pay. Made it embarrassing for everyone!!

The room was large and the bed very comfortable, very cosy atmosphere, and the bar itself was very welcoming. Just outside Darley Dale town centre and only 5 mins drive to the bar and restaurants. The staff were very friendly.

Parking is tricky, only 6-7 spaces on the car park itself, and they were always full. Extra parking in the adjacent building, but that was charged. Ended up parking in one of the designated spaces down the road, which were free but an uphill walk back to the hotel. No breakfast options meant that a trip to McDonald's was needed, but there are other cafes open close by they just didn't open early enough on a Sunday morning for our plans.

Nice staff. Good beers at the bar and hit lucky staying on pie night.

The hot water tap was a bit hit and miss in the room and I do not like Mira showers. Also not anywhere so nearby for breakfast at sensible prices as place across the road is now a rip off.
