Woodmill Farm Apartment

The apartment is in a gorgeous rural setting and is very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and the living/bedroom is well set out. It felt very homely and was a lovely place to stay.

Good location to all the nature walks around and a very lovely host with good communication.

1. WiFi didn’t work at all. Connected but the speed is unusable (see picture) 2. There is also no mobile phone signal in the area either, so you are stuck and can’t communicate with anyone. This would be fine if the WiFi worked, but it doesn’t. 3. To top it off, No TV. it’s a DVD player but it was broken. Someone has jammed two kids dvds in there so we had to pry them out. The built in tv DVD player doesn’t eject any of the dvds either. 4. The fridge wasn’t cold. Sadly not usable either. 5. I would say this place is not dog friendly because of the light coloured carpets and the big mud track outside the cottage makes it really difficult and stressful. We want to respect people’s homes wherever we stay but light coloured carpet and mud definitely doesn’t make you want to relax…. After an hour I did manage to do a speed test of the internet. It’s 0.48 MBps… so nothing will load at all, not even a website. Streaming from a laptop? Forget it. Google wouldn’t even load the search results, it was that bad. We were pretty disappointed but we’re glad it was only for one night. Please fix the WiFi and dvd player / no tv issue.

Woodmill Farm Apartment was extremely comfortable and roomy. I loved my stay there.

I got awfully lost trying to find the place. I think it might be time for a new sign.

Quiet and peaceful surroundings, Balcony

Squeaky floorboards, no kitchen - a microwave provided with crockery and cutlery in bedroom

The apartment was full of character, had lovely views and is in a pretty location. It was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It was dog friendly and there are nice walks from the property. The fridge & microwave were handy and there were games books toys and dvds, ideal if you had children with you. Lots of interesting features and history like the old mill wheel and also the rare bats that reside there.

A toaster would be a good addition
