Hostal Mayol

This is the 2nd time I have stayed and it was lovely and clean staff were great very friendly.

There was nothing about the property we didn’t like, The only thing that I would say the rooms needed is a fridge especially if you are there In The summer months.

The location is perfect for everything this town has to offer. The Hotel is basic but had everything we needed for a 1 week stay to see Ibiza, Santa Eulalia is our favourite resort after seeing others on the island. We were on the second floor with no noise from the bars in the oad below. We did face the back of the property and the balcony was small but sufficient. We will certainly visit again at some point but will request a room facing the front. I didn't get his name, even though we communicated many times!!, but the man who runs this hotel is so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and all was very relaxed....even when I thought I lost my key...but then found it in another bag!! All in all a great time.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Santa Eulàlia. The facilities in the room were perfect for us as we had a sea view balcony, there was air con, a small tv, clean towels and the room was very comfortable and clean. The reception staff were exceptional too and it was great value for money. We also loved the typical Spanish cafe below the hotel which did great coffee and breakfast at a reasonable price.

The main problem we had during our stay was the noise level. Understandably we came to Ibiza which is known for parties so noise is to be expected to some degree. But throughout the night we could hear the tv next door, we could hear every time someone used the toilet or shower, there was loud talking which often went on to 5am and then there was the constant moment/dragging of chairs, beds and things dropping on the floor from the rooms upstairs. There is a notice in the room asking to be mindful about not wasting water and that towels are changed every 3 days. I personally think there needs to be a sign to remind guest to be respectful and keep noise to a minimum after 11pm so other guests can get to sleep!

Location, value , quiet , communication all excellent.

Nothing not to like really , our only concern was that the mattresses were a bit unsupportive but it really was a very minor detail.

Rooms were quote noisy at night. Could do with door closers to stop them banging. Also a little fridge would have been great.
