Spring Garden Guest House

We asked for a low room as husband has spondylitis we were put on top floor. Hubby struggled to get up there which the lady even commented on. The bed was rock hard. The dining room instead of being the living room down stairs was a tiny room justvwith cereals and fridge in which you couldn't sit in to eat. We tried to find the lady to say we couldn't stay hubby s back was so bad when we got into room. We had to go home. As we couldn't find nerve text her and left key

I was severely delayed because my car broke down and I had to wait for recovery and a courtesy car. The owner was very understanding and welcoming nonetheless even though I arrived so late and was only staying one night. A comfortable bed, an agreeable room and bathroom, and a generous choice of self service breakfast (not cooked). Mostly apartments but there are two rooms bookable, of which I had one. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a late booking for me, so was very impressed with everything, i made the booking at about 12 and arrived at 3, so appreciated having a place to stay for the night. The room was fantastic, a very clean, well kept room with a bed that gave me a lovely sleep. There is a carpark for about 6 cars, and its about 20 minutes walk to the Gosport ferry for going over to Portsmouth. A nice touch is the kitchen extras, a selection of things for you to use including some snacks to pick.

Excellent location, super friendly owner, clean rooms and very comfortable. Loads of character and a great bar too :)
