The Hawthornes Licensed Guest House

This accommodation is located right next to the motorway, which we knew and chose deliberately for our stop on the way up north. With the windows closed, the traffic noises did not bother us at all. Considering the location, we were glad to know the gate to the private car park is locked at night. Breakfast was lovely and Dee is a delightful host whom we enjoyed chatting with before we went back on the road.

The location was good by M6 motorway. Ideal for us. The choice of breakfast was good and delicious. Even our dog had a treat.

Beds slightly too soft for our liking but not enough to make for poor sleeping.

Dee is a lovely lady who kindly took care of us during our short visit. She runs a good Guest House and serves a nice breakfast.

Nothing really besides the room being very hot thanks to a nice spot of weather for a change!

Absolutely fantastic. i was greeted like I was one of the family. Well looked after very kind a pleasant people I felt very chilled in there company

The room was spotless and I did look for dirt but didn't find any there was a fridge in my room that my ciders are still in lol. I will be going back next year

Very friendly and helpful staff. we felt very at home.I was travelling with my daughter and we stayed in a triple room with our puppy. Breakfast was fabulous and plentiful. The beds were very comfortable. We will be definitely coming back again

B&b was very warm, but I'm sure otter guests like it that way. Opened a window and turned the radiator off.

The landlady was amazing so friendly everything was clean & lovely breakfast
