Dawn Break Guest House

Location was good but parking a bit hit and miss depending on how many guests could fit close enough in the road. Had it been wet it was a nice thought to be able to sit on landing in comfort to read but as it was we didn’t need to. Host was very friendly and helpful. Room was bright and clean.

Personally we found the stairs difficult but then we are elderly.

Check-in was a breeze and the host was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and hearty. Despite the busy rush-hour traffic on the street in the front of the house, my room was remarkably quiet, facing the back of the house with a nice view of the nearby mountains in the background.

Stayed at Dawn Break guest house for 3 nights whilst visiting my sister. Beautiful guest house in perfect location. Plenty of street parking and easy walking distance to the town. A lovely, warm welcome from Ronnie when we arrived, the house smells amazing as soon as you walk in. Clean, quiet, comfortable room, with water, tea/coffee and biscuits. Lovely clean bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Had breakfast once during our stay, which was delicious with plenty of choice (eggs cooked to perfection, thank you). Great conversations with Ronnie, who made us feel like we were friends rather than guests. Thank you Ronnie for being such a great host. We will look forward to seeing you again next time we are back in Largs. Would definitely recommend Dawn Break guest house

Location was good. Just a lovely pleasant walk into main attractions. Dawn Break is a beautiful big building in quiet area and absolutely spotless. Our room was big. Bed very comfortable. Ensuite spotless. Ronnie greeted us on arrival. Told us about dining out. Where to go and we experienced a few. Very nice man and his lovely wife Jackie. Will definitely stay there again. Looking forward to another weekend away.

Absolutely nothing. All beyond our expectations. We were also informed they do breakfast but as we wanted to take the ferry over to Millport and were out late we prefer long lie in mornings but it did smell good. Ronnie told us about breakfast and about any extras we required. Nothing was a bother to him and stay was very enjoyable.

This B&B is immaculately clean, extremely comfortable and the owners are very helpful and friendly. Also a very good breakfast, this is by far the best place I have stayed in Largs. Previously over the past few years I have stayed at 5 other places in Largs and this was the best.

There is nothing not to like
