"Felt at home"

"Cosy caravan and a warm welcome."

A pleasure to stay in this cosy static caravan on the edge of the farm. The owner was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. 5-10 minutes walk to the train station meant you can get into Edinburgh very easily. If you are driving, Falkirk - with the famous Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies (both worth a visit) - is ~30 minutes drive away.

One or two lightbulbs needed replacing. But that was all.

"Quick"

The host received us well. The bedroom was comfortable. We were able to arrive and leave as planned.

On the Booking.com website orginally it said under Take a closer look: Comfortable Accommodations: Each room features a private bathroom, kitchen, fireplace, and parquet floors. Additional amenities include a dining area, sofa bed, and TV. Despite the host having sent a message saying no kitchen was available I had forgotten and arrived with food to cook because of the original booking we had made taking into account what was on the website. This was changed immediately after we mentioned the issue and no longer says the above, but now: Comfortable Accommodations: Each room features a private bathroom with a shower, tea and coffee maker, carpeted floors, and a TV. Additional amenities include a bath, seating area, sofa, electric kettle, and wardrobe. Of course it was disappointing for us and led to unnecessary conflict with the hosts.

"Netjes en hond welkom"

Aardige gastvrouw. Hondje was welkom.

Kamer was wat kleiner als verwacht. Dunne muren was gehorig. Verder was het netjes en schoon.
