THE LIMES Guest House

I booked this hotel via booking.com for 2 days and it was extremely cheap so I didn’t know know what to expect. However I loved the stay, I like the fact that you get to check in yourself and checkout yourself. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. The place is so clean and the info sent how to get in and everything was so clear. The bed and the pillows was extremely comfortable and I was able to sleep for over 10 hours. I Would definitely book again. Thank you so much

Everything was good except the fact that I went to have a shower and realised there was no shower gel or hair wash or anything so I had to wash with just water. In the morning I wanted to brush my teeth and again there is no toothpaste to use. Also the room was a bit cold as heating didn’t work for me. I turned it on in the room and it never came on but i can’t honestly say it’s broken as I am not sure, maybe the is another way to put it on. But overall it was a really good stay.

You could cook food if you wanted to. The location was bad but you could take the bus. The public transport in Birmingham is very bad though

We stayed for a week and a lot of people are coming and going which (even at night) is very annoying but cannot be helped. The floors are creaking very bad and the floor in the kitchen feels very cheap. The area is very sketchy especially at night and as a young woman I would not want to live here alone. The shower was hard to get to a good temperature and was hard to turn off. One night my friend woke up dizzy and there were a very distinct smell of smoke, the staff said they did not smell anything but tried to solve the problem so that was good. One bathroom on the ground floor was inconvenient. Would not recommend staying here for a long time and not alone.
