Tegfan -The Anglesey Townhouse

The property was in a nice area and was close to the beach. I liked the decor, it was old fashioned.

It was absolutely freezings, the door did not look secure and the bed was rock hard and had no headboard.

Location

This is a very basic room only deal with no service, apart from the night manager who helped me otherwise the my bags. It is economical, but a step too far for me economy-wise. Probably fine for the rather noisy youngsters who were there, but for an old man like me, not a good choice. The steep steps to to the front door would have been a killer if I hadn't met the night manager on the door step. Only a nightlight on the landing. Bathroom a communal area with a was basis with two toilets and two showers opening off it. The door of the communal area could be locked for strip washing but I wasn't convincecthere was any hot water. WiFi: the password as needed but not provided and my cell phone cover was non existent. Only working socket for charging the phone was the tea making. To fill the kettke neant goung down to the half landing to the bathroom.There was a light on the bedside table but I couldn't see how-to switch it on.

Was the most reasonable price for what I essentially needed, a bed whilst I visited family Location excellent Good Comms via booking.com- I felt confident what to expect and how to get in Pleasant looking room Good TV with all the apps/channels Plenty of tea and coffee Liked the plug in heater as it was a bit cold the days I stayed Liked the soft plentiful towels

I have a lovely bed at home and most hotels never compare but I particularly found the bed to be too hard I thought there would be shower gel provided, I could have bought some but I used the handsoap instead which was provided I couldn't work out how to turn the lamps on, I think the switches were behind the bed?

They staff was nice and respond quickly. Very helpful. Overall room is good and generally clean in the room. Good location basically in the mid of the town.

Only one sink and shared bathrooms/toilets. Room is clean but window isnt. The heating is working and it does makes the room warm but cannot be used to dry the towels i have.
