Clean and comfortable. Nice touches in the room (coffee machine, fridge with free water, cans of lemonade, crisps). Best breakfast on our road trip nicely presented.

Établissement à la fois cosy et confortable, y compris la literie, et d'une propreté irréprochable. Beaucoup de détails et d'attentions pour les hôtes. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, très copieux avec de nombreuses options proposées. Nous avons pu garer nos vélos en sécurité. Mon seul regret est de n'avoir pas profité du salon hyper cosy lui aussi (trop fatiguée par une longue étape à vélo)

This was perhaps our favourite place we stayed our entire trip through Scotland, and it all boils down to a host who’s meticulously thought of absolutely everything, and a breakfast menu that wows. Our room was spacious, super comfortable, clean, and had everything we could possibly need (and didn’t know we needed). Bryan welcomed us immediately as we arrived, was very helpful and kind, and was good to chat with before we headed off. Speaking of which, we didn’t want to leave because the breakfasts were just too good. He prepared restaurant-grade breakfasts like buttermilk pancakes with berries and cream, and eggs Benedict/Florentine. Even the muffins offered on the side were superior to others we’d had. This was the kind of fuel we needed for our full days of hiking. Clune House is situated just a 20 minute’s drive from a myriad of wonderful Cairngorms walks, and right next to a grocery store and pharmacy for all your practical needs. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to stay here again in the future.

The breakfast was amazing - well cooked and well presented (Michelin star standard we thought!) It was brought to us very promptly too. All the decor throughout the accommodation was very tasteful. Beds very comfortable and our room cosy without being stuffy. It was also very quiet even though on the main road. Bryan the owner was extremely efficient and helpful too.
