"Great location, quaint guesthouse near the old centre of York."

The guest house is well located right by the old city centre - it was quiet and in a good location. Parking was well organised - you can drop off bags immediately North of the guest house & then park around the corner. The breakfast was good. Overall it was quaint with something of a Harry Potter vibe. Good value for the price.

Our room was very small & at the top of the property (hence the price I guess) and the rooms which we peeked into on leaving were bigger, but unavailable as we booked late. We were there during a heatwave. Thank goodness for the fan provided which was very helpful !

"Charming Boutique Hotel"

This is an adorable little boutique hotel in charming York. We were surprised at how nicely decorated and stylish it is. The breakfast was also delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The stairs to our room were steep but this is what is expected.

Very welcoming, interesting décor, easy walk from station, right in the centre of York. Very clean, lovely room.

A heavy winter duvet was not a good idea in a heatwave!

"A Little Gem of a Guesthouse!"

Lovely room, cozy atmosphere made us feel at home. Beautiful main sitting room, Excellent location just a short walk to the river Ouse. Fabulous decorated room and lovely staff. Tasty Breakfast with a good selection. We will be staying again!

Super unique establishment and room! LOVED it! It was so close to many area attractions. We parked and then walked everywhere. Staff was super friendly and helpful. So many "extras" such as a common lounge, complimentary breakfast delivered to our room. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. Overall, an amazing experience!

We loved everything about the guesthouse.Very clean, comfortable bed and a gorgeous breakfast hamper freshly made. Fantastic location.
