If you have a car. The location is 5 minutes from Bala. A amazing place to visit. From there it takes 20 minutes to most of all the beautiful places in that area.

Idyllic setting, quiet, peaceful and homely

The local area is wonderful and stunningly quiet, but finding the farmhouse is an experience in itself. The satnav dropped us at the entrance to a long drive! We were lucky enough to find a local resident living on site who very kindly and very helpfully aided us to get into the property, for which we were very grateful, having driven for nearly 6 hours.

The shale driveway in front of the farmhouse is not very wheelchair friendly, but once on the premises, there was no problem. Our accommodation was immediately of the front door.

I enjoyed the place, nice and cozy, wonderful people, highly recommend for vacation in Bala - Welsh, to roaming around in Snowdonia National Park and wonderful lakes, outstanding service!

The host will provide you with instructions how to find the Farm - it's right by the Bryntirion Inn. Note to use the Bryntirion Inn post code for this accommodation as the farmhouse postcode may not work for your satnav. Follow the host's instructions to the entry gate and then the farmhouse set a little way back. The disabled access to this room is excellent - easy ramps into comfortable ground floor room. Splendid bathroom. Breakfast not provided but no problem at all. There's a microwave and fridge and they provide cutlery and plates etc if you ask. But also, the very pleasant and welcoming "open all day" Bryntirion Inn is just a few moments' walk. If you want breakfast there as we chose to do, best to book so they know what time you are coming. We also had an excellent dinner there one night - they have a good cook! Lovely to have the farm duckpond outside our room and to see the ducks. Beautiful scenic area with river Dee in valley alongside.

l'd say a slightly larger bed would be nice. However the bed is perfectly adequate unless the guests are really large - we aren't.

I stayed here while working nearby at Hafoty Ucha. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and the room had been well planned for people with mobility problems (including me recovering from a hip replacement!). Couple of practical things for potential guests: Apart from The Bryntirion Inn, about 50 years up the road, the next nearest place to get food and drink is in Bala, approximately 4 miles away. The Bryntirion Inn is a nice little pub and does very good, reasonably priced meals but if you want anything else, you need to plan ahead. The room has a microwave, fridge and kettle so you can be self-sufficient if you plan it well. There are some lovely walks nearby but if you're using the roads, footpaths are in short supply. Finally, the hosts will send you some convoluted instructions as to how to get there. Get directions for The Bryntirion Inn from your favourite app - if you're coming from Bala (pub on the right) the premises are accessed about 50 metres downhill on the right before you get to it; if you're arriving from the A5, pass the pub and the premises are 50 meters on your left.

Minor constructive criticism - curtains were a little thin and during my stay, it was light about 4:45 meaning some earlier than planned awakening times.
