"Lovely relaxing place to base yourself for exploring the Lakes."

We had a great stay here. Lovely welcoming hosts, great breakfast and room. Guest lounge is good for a relaxing afternoon tea or pre dinner drinks from the honesty bar. Parking on site is a big bonus in this area too!

Beautiful guest house, very comfortable and a great choice of breakfast . Lovely lounge with coffee and freshly baked cakes ..the hosts are lovely people.

"Great location, nice breakfast."

It did have some parking on site and the location was very good.

Getting out of the carpark, to say it was tight is an understatement, thank god for parking sensors as it was horrendous experience getting out, nothing the site can do, the parking spots near the entrance are just to close.

Great room, very comfortable bed, good bathroom. Amazing breakfast. Host is extremely knowledgable about all the fells and very happy to help with plans. Lovely guest lounge with snacks, books and comfy chairs! Good location for accessing public transport the majority of the Lakes.

Some minor restrictions such as not being allowed to eat in the bedroom
