Reasonable

The staff were so lovely, a fab family run business. Lovely home cooked breakfast. Very comfy bed. Only 2 minutes walk to the beach front and main shopping area. Loved sealife and nearby thrigby hall.

Room on 2nd floor so lots of climbing stairs. Very hot room, fan not very powerful, however there was a heat wave. A bit dated but comfortable. A shelf in the shower to put toiletries on would be lovely although shower gel and shampoo dispensers were full on the wall but i like to use my own. Booking.com stated free parking so was surprised to have to pay 7.50 per night parking up front in cash.

The sea view was pathetic and should not be advertised as one. No clean bedding or towels until day 4 of your stay, we stayed for 3 nights and our bed wasn't even made or bin emptied, no room clean whatsoever. The bathroom isn't fit for purpose and could barely move in there , the sink fitted was the size of one you have in a downstairs loo and too close to the wall up a corner so my husband struggled to shave etc. No hair dryer in the room. We asked to use the iron , ironing board and hair dryer and on each occasion we were made to carry them up two flights of stairs, I'd have thought that for the cost of this place a staff member would have brought them to us. The shower was very stiff to turn for the right temperature and the extractor fan didn't work.
