Pleased with everything

The whole trip was excellent. We travelled by train and at some points there was some amazing scenery. On arrival greeted by the lovely Maz and Simon who made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the Swedish hut, worth the extra money if you want more privacy and magic to an already magical place. The breakfasts were made most certainly with a passion for food by shabbygourmet Maz with Simon never letting you run out of toast and coffee. Both with plenty of advice and ideas on what to do, where to go and what to eat. Polperro itself is like a dream or something, amazing, surprising, magical, beautiful. Dog friendly is an understatement. Just go already and be made to feel like you're part of the family. 👌👏👍😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

We loved every minute of our stay at The Cottage Bed & Breakfast. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were made to feel at home. Maz and Simon really do go above and beyond for their guests, we felt like we had come to stay with friends we had known a long time! Our room was beautiful, full of character and charm, and with everything we needed. The breakfast was just out of this world! I loved the homemade granola and yoghurt, and the edible flowers were the nicest touch! The location couldn't be better, set in the beautiful village of Polperro. A short walk away from the beach, wonderful gifts, shops, and amazing places to eat! We loved everything about our stay at this very special place, and will definitely be back!

Hospitality and attention to detail at breakfast was excellent. Food was lovely, especially liked the homemade granola, fruit compote with yoghurt.

Would have liked the possibility of an earlier breakfast. Stay was still excellent.

The rustic charm

The property was quaint, welcoming and pretty. The hosts were exceptional and very accommodating. Breakfast was first class and our dog was made to feel most welcome. Polperro is a pretty village and perfect for exploring the surrounding areas. Added bonus that we got to check in early and had a permit for the car park.
