Dog and Whistle Pub

It was so clean and the bed was so comfy, plus the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were there for a concert, but had a drink in the garden before hand. I loved the tea n coffee left on the tray and the flapjack, we will definitely be returning. There was a fan in the room as it was a hot night, but still slept well.

It was the hottest day of the year and we didn’t realise until the morning that the heating was on!!

clean bright comfy bedroom with ensuite , tea tray , bathroom soaps etc ,

more coathangers reqd , basic greeting upon arrival , no smile , basics covered but no special attention to me seemed a shame

Some fella in a car outside my window at 3 in the morning blaring his music for about 2 hours

The Dog and Whistle is in a great location for parking, bars, restaurants, shops and BEAM Theatre. Everything in walking distance.

I assume it can be noisy due to being over a pub but we were lucky there were no events on at the weekend so it was fine.

Location, and nice pub. Good staff.

The stairs to the rooms would be a problem if you had mobility issues.
