Huge room

Nice shower, nice area to stay in. Comfy bed, small cosy room. Nice bar and ev we nt evening was good.

No one could have Been keeping an eye on who comes and go, we got no sleep,a lot people who probably were not staying in the hotel, kept knocking on our door trying to get in, looking for some else. So was very restless night. No security or night staff I guess. Felt quite unsafe..

I had a lovely room set at the front. Felt more like a suite it was so spacious. Very comfortable bed Nice selection of drinks and snacks

Lovely welcome, clear infor, lovely decorated room. Only grumble was the shower. Was terrible and needs replacing. Everything else Id recommend

Our small double room was clean and well presented. We were on the top floor, so accessing the room with the low ceiling was fun! Nicely decorated bedroom and bathroom with good lighting. Bathroom was spacious and light. Loved the lighting (for doing hair and makeup) and a full length mirror to check our outfits, on the door was great. Tea, coffee and biscuit selection was good. Bed was comfy. It was very cosy, so we were able to turn off the radiator and open a window. Pleasantly surprised we didn’t hear hardly any noise from the high street… Price was very good in comparison with other hotels in Hertford.

The room was very compact. For one night it was fine. It had 2 bed side cabinets and a hanging rail. The cold tap didn’t work in the bathroom basin and the hot was a dribble. So we filled the kettle up using the bath tap. But annoying when we wanted to wash our hands. As we passed the first floor I noticed a clothes airer with clothes on it.. It wasn’t in the way of accessing our room but just seemed odd being there.

Cosy comfortable room, a bit shabby in some areas. Bed very clean and comfortable. Slept well too without need of earplugs supplied.

The carpets on stairs and entrance approaching room very shabby.

The location is central and right next to the car park. The room is small but modern.

The bed was lumpy with springs coming through. It was extremely uncomfortable. It is an old building so be prepared if u stay in a top floor room as it has a sloping ceiling and a very steep staircase to access the room.
