It was close to the city center

The police coming through my door on the second day looking for a guy called Dave who skipped bail.

Security doors that couldn’t lock Dirty showers, kitchen, broken furniture in room. Water supplied in old vodka bottles with atlas house labels (I’ve really never seen anything like it) Other rooms being used for business, meaning lots of different people coming and going at all times of day and night.

The location is very close to the bus stops and very accessible. The area seemed secure and not dangerous.

The house had a distinct scent that could easily be off putting.

Location is good

During my stay, I experienced several serious issues with the condition and safety of the accommodation. The property appeared poorly maintained, with damaged and dirty woodwork throughout, including the skirting boards, and multiple signs of low-quality temporary repairs over time. The bedroom furniture was also in unacceptable condition. The double bed frame was unstable and appeared to be supported by wooden struts. During the night, the bed became wonky and wobbly, suggesting it had already been broken before our arrival. This made sleeping uncomfortable and raised concerns about safety. There were also electrical and fire safety concerns. A smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling, and I had to adjust it myself before contacting the landlord regarding the alarm system beeping. In addition, a socket behind the bed was loose with exposed live fittings and had been secured with duct tape, which is a serious health and safety hazard. The general security and usability of the property were poor. The door handle was broken, and the top lock was difficult and awkward to operate. Noise was another major issue, as the walls were extremely thin, making it easy to hear neighbours talking at night and resulting in disturbed sleep. Finally, the parking arrangements were misleading and inconvenient, as the designated parking was a five-minute walk away from the property rather than on-site. Overall, the accommodation was not maintained to an acceptable standard, with multiple issues relating to cleanliness, comfort, maintenance, and safety.

Bad check-in process, we didn’t received any information till the moment of the check in. Incredible level of dirt in any element of the room and the building in general. We left the room as soon as arrived because of the bad smell and hygienic conditions. Also from a safety point of view the vibe was off, we did not felt safe. The pictures are misleading.

Shockingly filthy, food left from previous people, severely run-down, front door lock failed - couldn't get in - had to call owner.
