Guest House Tall Rooms

The house is an old house with very renovations, like many of the guesthouses in Zugdidi, hence the high ceilings. The best thing for me was that the front door is open all day and it is not hard to find somebody to help you--while at many guesthouses in Georgia I have had a few minutes of confusion after arriving because nobody seemed to be around to let me into the room. The host speaks quite decent English, too.

Better bathroom than in most other guesthouses but nothing special.

The bed was not very comfortable. There are many dogs barking at night.

The host family was so hospitable and helpful. They welcomed me to have some lunch with them when I arrived. I thought my room was in the Dadiani Palace!!!! This would be my favourite guesthouse in Georgia!

The location is great, walkable from the center and bus station. There is a market nearby. Room is spacious with ventilation and lighting. The AC is helpful during the summer. You can cook in the kitchen. There are two toilets so you never have to wait. There is garden to sit in. The hosts are nice people.

There are other rooms and some guests may not know how to dress in front of housemates but it's not the property's fault.

The owner is very helpful. The house is beautiful in a quiet street. We only stayed one night, and we liked Zugdidi. It is a nice walk to the palace and also in the evening in Zugdidi.

Great house with historical background, built by the director of local tea factory for his family, back in 19th century. You can see and touch the history, see the original wooden doors, walk through the house, go to the balcony, sit in the beautiful garden, and be the guest of this house and his friendly owner. Our host was very responsive and ready to help. The site is really accessible and in the same time quiet and content. This house really suitable for groups of different sizes or for family visit. There are groceries shops and restaurants nearby, also you can take a 10 minute walk and visit the Dadiani palace and famous Zugdidi Botanical garden (don't forget to buy some fish food and feed the fish in the central pond of the park - it's really satisfying 🙂).
