Excellent communication with the host to arrange key collection. Also as we had arrived early we were able to leave our car in the car park and enjoy a stroll into town which was great for us. Nice friendly greeting on arrival and our room was spotlessly clean and spacious. It was well equipped with a fridge with fresh milk and also plenty of choice for complimentary drinks. Even homemade granola bars on arrival. The room had lots of additional comforts such as a table and chairs to sit and read or eat at or watch Tv rather than lying on the bed. It had a good choice of lighting and extras such as a magnifying mirror which a lot of rooms we stay in lack. The bed and pillows were super comfy and very nicely decorated overall. Great internal double glazing blinds on the windows, giving you the choice of privacy and light. Shower worked very efficiently and there was a nice quality selection of shower gels etc. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed an excellent breakfast both days. There was a comprehensive menu and what we choose was freshly cooked to order and with the added bonus of homemade bread, granola and yoghurt. Very friendly host and hostess who created a relaxing, welcoming but very efficient service. We will stop there again if in the area and would recommend the hotel.

"Brilliant break in a beautiful town"

Easy parking on site, easy 5 minute walk into centre of Rye. Best thing of all is breakfast made and served by the outstanding hosts, Judith and Javed. Homemade bread and granola make it very special. The room was compact but comfortable with everything you could possibly need.
