- The room was super beautiful, cosy and modern to the last detail. - The hosts were amazing - Location was great, 5 mins walk to the main road in front of the port - Cleaning was spotless

Only one thing - soundproofing is not good, which doesn't help with the noise you could get from the road in front. I woke up 2-3 times around 5-6am from trash trucks.

The noise, no hot water, tiny and terrible bathroom, hard to sleep. the noise: - fridge in room is sooooo loud and old, making a crackling noise every 15 mins - Cars and scooters zipping past - Bins emptied at 5:30am with crashing glass - Noisy punters yelling and singing on their way home in the wee hours - All of this sounds like it’s happening right outside your room, as soundproofing is virtually non existent the bathroom: The whole room is absolutely tiny, but the bathroom in particular. The shower head is hand held only with nowhere to hang it. This combined with tiny shower without a screen, leads to water everywhere. One night we returned back from a day at the beach and no hot water. We contacted the host and they said run it for 10 mins it will go hot. After around 90 mins and multiple messages / calls with the host, they came to the room and said they weren’t sure why it wasn’t hot as it had been sunny today and that it might have been hot around 8pm. Seemed like she was intimating they’d turned off the electricity and relied on solar because it “was sunny today”. By this stage it was 11:30pm and around 18 degrees and we had no other option but to take freezing cold showers and shiver to sleep. Apparently they had a technical issue, but still the lady was not overly apologetic or offering other solutions for us to have a shower. Basically just told us wait to have a shower tomorrow. Even the next day the hot water wasn’t working at 8:30am so we couldn’t shower until just before checkout time...1.5 days after our prior hot shower. This was the worst accommodation I’ve stayed in throughout Europe. This place was $130 AUD a night…an absolute rip off. The balcony is big with a decent view of the harbour. But don’t fall into the trap we did. Do not stay here.

Location was great around 10/15 mins walk from the port and about 2/3 mins to the beach. Amazing views from the huge rooftop balcony. Katy was so helpful and welcoming a lovely host.

There wasn’t really anything that we didn’t like however the 3 flights of stairs to the room might be a problem for elderly, infirm or young children. Would have been great if there had been 2 sunbeds on the terrace.
