The Broomsquire

Lovely decor, very comfortable and clean rooms and the owners are so welcoming and helpful. A genuinely really nice place.

Nice big room and bed

The heating was broken and the shower was cold. The person in the room above my room was so loud I was woken up every night around 3am. Will not be stopping there again

Management were very good!

The location was good for where we were.

As you drive into Tadley. The sign for the broomsquire says hotel, restaurant, bar ,it would have been better if there was a bar and restaurant,other than that it was ok.

Location, garden

Bathroom, shower, bedroom. All in all poor value. Way to expensive for what you get. Needs refurbishment especially the carpet in the bedroom and the facilities bathroom. And how difficult can it be to put a dustbin in the bathroom.

Very big room and bathroom. All freshly decorated and sparklingly clean. Very comfortable bed and very nice crisp bedlinen etc. Super garden to sit in. Very nice to have a small 'fridge in the bedroom. That was much appreciated.

No place to put cosmetics etc in the bathroom (and to a lesser extent in the bedroom) and very limited space to hang things. However the main issue was that the hot water system failed sometime during the first night, and we had no hot water for two of the three days. Fortunately it was in the middle of the heatwave, but even so, cold showers on two of our three day stay were rather a shock. I was very disappointed with the owners response which was that the repairer under contract could not fix the problem until two days after we left, but that we would be offered a discount on our next stay (which will not happen). I would have expected something as fundamental as hot water supply to be fixed immediately, even if it meant going outside the contracted maintenance contract.

no breakfast :( lack of airflow or air-con. its why I haven't stayed there again recently, preferring instead the Permier inn which is air-cond but of course not as nice at all
