Savanna Guest House

Everything was just perfect. The room was very comfortable, it had air conditioning and mosquito nets, a good shower (which, as I learnt later on, is very unusual in Georgia) and the garden was very beautiful and quiet. The stuff was very friendly, they cooked for us breakfasts and dinners which were very tasty. As far as I know they can even help organise tours in Vashlovani park.

Great location for exploring Vashlovani wilderness area, Shiraki airfield, wine area, run by a lovely welcoming family who prepared fabulous meals. The owner, Temo, runs tours to the Vashlovani Protected area and is incredibly knowledgeable about the history, geography, flora and fauna and history of the area.

Accommodation matches photos. The house is clean and cozy, contains all we needed. There is a nice yard. The staff was friendly and responsive.

We can definitely recommend Savanna's guesthouse. Temo is a really warm and welcoming host, you feel at home at once. It's obvious he takes it at heart to help others. We had Temo as a guide to the Vashlovani nature reserve and it was an amazing journey full of unexpected sights and discoveries thanks to Temo being constantly on the lookout for animals and archeological sites. He's really passionate and knowledgeable about nature, environmental issues, geology and history / archeological issues. To get back to the guesthouse itself : the space is huge, it's well equipped, there's a lush garden to chill outside, and the food was not only fine but copious. Highly recommended !

Great guest house, with very clean rooms and the best staff. They hepled with organising us a day trip with a private guide to Vashlovani National Park, prepared us lunchboxes for the day and everything else. Home cooked dinners are amazing.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Savanna Guest House in Dedoplistskaro. After a long day exploring Vashlovani National Park, we were exhausted and decided to stay the night locally. Despite our late arrival at around 10 PM, Temo, the owner, was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. He waited for us in front of the house, and our room was just as described – super clean and cozy. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast made by Temo’s family. The personal touch of this family business made our stay feel even more special. Temo is also a guide for the national park, and although we had already visited, he provided us with fascinating additional information. I highly recommend Savanna Guest House to anyone visiting the area. The hospitality, comfort, and overall experience were exceptional.

Lovely guesthouse! Very nice hosts, good meals and breakfast. Temo knows a lot about the local nature and animals (birds, mammals, reptiles), and can guide you to several nature areas.

If you go to Dedoplis Tskaro and you want to visit the Vashlovani National Park, this is the place to stay. Temo and the ladies are great hosts. We did not go on tour with him as we prepared it by ourselves, but you have the possibility to go with him. Anyway, Temo gave us a lot of indications and valuable infos about the National Park, the area and all the fauna and flora of the area.
