Very clean, very comfortable, en-suite and double room, very quiet, good parking, and Jo and Sam were exceptionally friendly. Tea and homemade biscuit were provided as well. Beautiful spot.

We wanted something away from a busy area and this was perfect. Sam and Jo were lovely to deal with. Went above and beyond when we left clothes in the wardrobe after our departure 🙈 It was clean and very comfortable.

Former inn, beautifully renovated with many period features, in quiet village location convenient for Caernryan ferry. Very comfortable bedroom, spacious bathroom, many personal touches including home baked cookies. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Our host was most helpful. It is one of the nicest places I have stayed in in Scotland.

There was absolutely nothing that you could complain about and the breakfast was delicious

I have mobility issues, so climbing stairs is difficult for me , but as l often say, it will be alright on the night

"Immaculate, welcoming, tasteful"

Very clean, with tasteful furnishings. Really delicious home-made cookies. Chilled water and milk in insulated stainless-steel bottles - attractive and ecological. Helpful, clear instructions and immediate responses from the owner when I made enquiries about arriving late and leaving early for the ferry.

"Clean, tidy & very welcoming."

The staff were lovely, nice and accommodating and made us feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The room and reception area was spotless too you couldn’t find fault in anything. The home baked cookies in the room were a lovely touch too.

Only thing that lets it down is the area as there isn’t much around it, but that could be seen as a positive in some cases I suppose.
