La Maison Mestia

We had a wonderful experience here. The hostess was incredibly kind and helpful: she assisted us with all our questions, recommended great places to eat, and gave us tips on how to reach the sights we wanted to see. The house itself is beyond praise. It is very spacious, with three bedrooms each having its own bathroom and toilet, plus an extra toilet downstairs in the living room. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge, coffee and tea. In the evenings we enjoyed playing the many interesting board games available. The location is simply perfect — right in the very center of Mestia, within walking distance to everything you might need. And of course, the views are breathtaking: from the huge lodge balcony you can admire the snowy peaks. This place added so many wonderful impressions to our trip, and we couldn’t have asked for more.

This modern two levels house is clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed—fully equipped kitchen, washer, and dryer (!), comfortable beds, and very large terrace wiht dining table, hammocks and wiht fantastic views. The owner was polite and accommodating. Location is in a heart of the city. We highly recommend La Maison Mestia.

On the downside, it’s in the city center, so expect some noise, also uneven floors could use fixing in a future renovation.

Excellent location in the heart of the city, with a stunning mountain view from the balcony. There's also a huge shared balcony with two hammocks — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The interior is nicely renovated, with brand-new kitchen appliances. You'll also find games, a PlayStation 5, and a wireless speaker for entertainment. Each room has its own private bathroom, plus there's an extra one on the ground floor. There’s a separate laundry room with both a washing machine and a dryer.

There’s no designated area for coats or shoes near the entrance. The washing machine and dryer are not new — their doors are difficult to close properly. The staircase to the upper floor feels quite unsafe. There are security cameras in the living room, upstairs hallway, and on the balcony. This was mentioned in the listing, but it was easy to miss, so it came as an unpleasant surprise. The internet is very slow. There was a strong and constant sewage smell in all bathrooms, especially noticeable in the bedrooms. Ventilation didn’t help. In some areas, the floor feels unstable, almost like it's sagging.

Very good situation, also washing machine, dryer and heating.
