"Very happy first stay."

Catherine was a very friendly and attentive host. Breakfast was amazing. Lovely guest house with lovely ensuite room. Excellent location, very quiet and a short walk to the centre. Enough on-site and street parking. Ticked all the boxes for us.

The place was one of the cleanest accommodations we have ever stayed in. It had everything we needed, and like the other reviews mentioned, the breakfast was amazing - you'd never leave hungry! Catherine is also a really lovely host and went beyond to check if we needed to store our luggage since we had a couple of hours from check-out till our train leaves.

Honestly can't think of anything!

Beechwood was warm with everything in our room that we needed plenty of draws for clothing shower easy to use comfortable bed and easy reach of a short walk to the town

Everything was at hand so no complaints from us with a beautiful cooked breakfast in the morning and plenty of tea or coffee or juices
