"Definitely not a 4 star guest house/ advertised as a hotel."

Location.

It's not 4 star as advertised so very disappointed. Would not return and will think again before booking through yoursrlves. 😔Mould on en suite ceiling. Fan dripping water on your head. Not great selection for breakfast.

First time in UK and first time in Windermere. My wife and I stayed in 5 different hotels in UK during our 2 weeks in UK. This is our top 1. We spent 1 night here. Breakfast is awesome with really good taste and a variety of choices. Room is nice, host is a very nice person. Everything is so good and we will definitely come back and stay here again if we visit Windermere again in the future.

The property was conveniently located to allow for walking distances into Bowness on Windermere or Windermere. Car Parking was available as advertised and the hotel it self was very clean and well maintained. The host was very friendly and approachable for local knowledge on activities/places to eat within the area. The breakfast itself was a good standard and filled for the day ahead. The WIFI worked as well.

Great location, friendly staff, great breakfast and comfortable room with park view. Pub over the road on corner was really good also.
