Kidwells House

Great location to access the Parkrun. Great sized room with a great bath, shame the room was far too hot. The cleaner in the morning was very nice hen we were checking out 🙂

The room was far too hot (even without heating on), but the heating had been left on (with no option to turn it off) in the bathroom.

It was what we needed and plenty of parking

No food but we knew that before we arrived as there was plenty of places to eat not far away

Anne the host was lovely when we spoke on the phone, the location was convenient for being near the racecourse & Anne made it possible for us to check into our room early

Parking in my opinion should be free if staying in the hotel, the bed was uncomfortable, squeaky & could feel the springs, room extremely basic, no breakfast is a shame

Traffic noise

Clean, comfortable and oeaceful. There was a busy road outside, but double glazing kept the noise low. A short walk from the station. Good shower and bath. Plenty of storage space. Key code system worked well.

The room was cold. I tried to turn the radiators on, but they didn't! I knew it was room only, but it was classed as an hotel,so it felt odd not seeing any staff, except a friendly cleaner as I left.

The welcome was friendly and helpful.
