"Clean, quiet, comfortable"

Great place, free parking across the road, just by Asda and 5 mins walk from town. Tea, coffee, toast and cereal for breakfast.

The horse and groom was clean and we loved the help yourself breakfast set up. It was very quiet at night no hotel doors banging everyone was very considerate. Staff were helpful and polite. Great location and the free parking opposite was a great bonus

Some maintenance work needs doing ie the toilet roll holder was falling off the wall and the bed mattress was very lumpy and you could feel the springs this really needs replacing. Could do with somewhere to hang clothes and a shelf in the bathroom to put your toiletries on.

kitchen and sharted facilities very good - manager was very helpful

had booked for a twin room with two beds but was allocated a double plus binkbeds initially . The manager was very helpful in resolving this mix up very quickly however - Thank you

Very friendly welcome even although I got there a bit after official check in time. Host kindly provides breakfast for guests of cereals and toast that you make yourself. Lovely sitting room and bright kitchen for meals. Heating was on in room. Comfy beds,quiet place to stay. Swaffham village is lovely and ideally located for touring. Original features of the property have been retained. Excellent Chinese takeaway over the road open till eleven pm; very good food reasonably priced. Parking over the road is free and seemed secure. All staff are friendly and very helpful Castle acre (pictured) is a lovely village to visit and nearby.

Parking over the road is not always straightforward however I did not have a problem.

The only potential issue is lack of car parking, we had a space behind the house, but that may not always be possible.

"Perfect one night stop over"

I needed somewhere to stop en route to Cromer as it’s a 4 hour drive. Just needed something simple and an early morning getaway. Absolutely perfect and the Chinese takeaway opposite was a real bonus.
