Excellent breakfast. Lovely staff who were very helpful. The setting is gorgeous and a great base for touring Yorkshire.

Very comfortable room with balcony, some nice touches such as homemade cookies and large bottle of water. Good quality breakfast served impeccably. I was treated well as a solo traveller, the parking on site and 11am check out were ideal.

The location is lovely. A cute little village with a few nice little shops. people int he area were lovely and friendly. The hotel was clean and had a lovely sent thru it. My bed was really comfortable, I slept well, the towels were also lovely and soft.

I get the building is very old, so I can excuse the uneven floors and doors , but the room was not what I was expecting. It was on par with an inn collection which we love, but usually pay the same rate for the room and evening meal to what we paid for just the room. Breakfast wasn't the best however I did only have scrambled egg on toast , never tried the full English.
