Overall, the stay was very unpleasant. The bed had a dip in the middle, and the room had terrible sound insulation. You could clearly hear people walking in the hallway, opening and locking doors, and even the washing machine running — all of which made it very difficult to get a good rest. The toilet paper often ran out as well. But that wasn’t even the worst part. I initially booked for one night, but due to a change of plans, I extended my stay for four more nights. All the room charges were required to be paid in cash upfront. However, the host, Laila, came knocking on my door every morning at 7 a.m. claiming I hadn’t paid, completely denying having received any payment earlier. (The first time, after I clarified the situation, she apologized and even shook my hand. But the next day, she came knocking again — this time even bringing several other people to confront me. To make matters worse, she didn’t speak any English except for the word “pay.” Thankfully, a young girl from the host’s family who could speak English helped translate.) I was traveling alone as a woman, and the repeated confrontations continued until I said I would call the police and write an honest review. Only then did their attitude suddenly change. They said it was a misunderstanding and asked me not to write a review. However, I feel it’s necessary to share my experience because I also met another Korean guy who had the same issue — he had already paid for an extended stay, but the host didn’t remember. So I don’t think this was a coincidence. It might be due to the host’s age and possible memory issues, or perhaps they intentionally target Asian travelers? By the way, there is also a man in the household who seemed to be the husband. He was cold and unfriendly the entire time, making guests feel unwelcome. Their rates are not cheap either. I later heard from other travelers that there are many other places with better views and much better value.

Es muy cerca del centro de Mestia. Es una casona grande con un área común bien espaciosa y por fuera tiene un quincho para estar.

Para usar la cocina hay que pedir permiso antes pues lo usa la familia. Quizás algunos carteles para saber donde se puede entrar y donde no. Necesita también mejorar el sistema para llevar el registro de los huéspedes, con migo y con varios hubo confusiones día a día.

Personal muy acogedor y hospitalario. Nos ofrecieron comida que habían preparado para una cena con amigos y noa guardaron las mochilas tres días para hacer la ruta andando hasta Ushguli. Un placer!

De kamer heeft geen buitenraam, alleen een raam naar de hal. Er zijn geen stekkers bij de bedden. Een hobbelig kussen.

古い情報では、うるさくて眠れないと書いていたので、少し心配だったが、今はそのようなことはなかった。 奥様は英語が話せなかったが、その代わりに親戚の子どもたちが通訳をしてくれた。 台所にはテレビがあったり、家庭の様子がかいま見れたし、いろんな方とお話できたのが、私には楽しかった（他の宿との違い）。ジョージア語で一生懸命コミュニケーションをとろうとしたら、パンなどを分けてくださり、優しくしていただいた。 室内に洗濯物を干す場所があり、雨のことを心配せずに干せたのは良かった。 床を綺麗に掃除してくれていた。 前に泊まった宿では、wifiがない宿もあったが、ここはWiFiが使えた。

別の宿で個室を探していたが、満室のため、こちらのドミトリーを利用した。ドミトリーなので、音を立てぬよう気をつかわないといけなかった。 バス・トイレが2か所あったが、どうやら一つは故障してたよう（最初気づかなかった）。 充電のプラグがそれぞれのベッドの近くになく、使い勝手が悪そうだった。

Personal muy amable y disponible. Tienen una habitación donde se puede guardar algo de equipaje que no quieras llevar durante la ruta a pie de Mestia a Ushguli. Nosotros dejamos algunas cosas y al volver pasamos otra noche allí. Tienen té y café siempre disponible :) Habitaciones limpias y con luz.

El suelo es de madera y cada vez que pasa alguien por el pasillo o sube las escaleras se oyen los pasos de manera muy exagerada, resultando complicado dormir.
