Everything was very good. I felt i am sleeping in my own house.

very friendly in every way. very kind to my little girls. a huge plus for us was that they allowed us to park the car in their private parking lot before check in. we really appreciated this being with children.

The room was on the small side and wallpaper and general decor weren't great.

Great location and friendly staff! We arrived a little later than anticipated but staff had no complaints about that. Also, the house is very cute, it had this sort of old world 70s mystery to it.

The room had a distinct old towel smell walking in, which was not alleviated by opening the window. It made the whole stay very unpleasant. There was dried blood on the shower curtain, and red marks on the shower walls. Though it was probably sharpie, it didn't exactly inspire confidence considering the aforementioned blood on the curtain. The sink was cracked. I understand that hotels like this are quite hard to get a good profit margin from but there really are better hotels we could've stayed at in the general bournemouth town center area for the same price that we wouldn't have found uncomfortable. The hotel has a great overall rating so I'm hoping this was a one off issue. That being said there are better places, won't be staying here again.
