Lawriestone Guest House

Jaimie and Jan were lovely hosts, very welcoming and friendly. Accomodation was wonderful, clean, and very homely. The building itself had lots of character. Excellent location for the nearby town of Fort William, restaurants and bars. We had a luxury room facing the Loch so just a wonderful oulook. Breakfast although not a fully hot Scottish there was plenty of choice. Jan's fresh fruit salad not to be missed!

We needed 2 duvets but couldnt get that.

Rooms generous proportion, well furnished, comfortable, modern en-suite facilities with stunning lake view as advertised Our hosts Jan & Jamie were great: friendly, helpful with local information, very welcoming and kind. Thank you Jan & Jamie for letting us stay in your lovely home. Sincere thanks for spoiling my sister Liz on her special birthday with a bottle of bubbly, chocs and lovely birthday banner! Deeply appreciated.. it was a wonderful stay🙏

Nothing to dislike

Wonderfully friendly hosts. Super comfortable bed and a large room to spread out in. Wonderful breakfast in the morning.

Run by a fantastically friendly couple. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, views were wonderful. Breakfast was good.

Would have liked an option for a cooked breakfast.

I’d been cold all day after hiking. The shower wasn’t super powerful so I felt I didn’t really warm up. Would have loved a more powerful shower or a bath

Not one to complain ever but this guest house is the worst we have stayed in. Bring in a walkers paradise I would never recommend staying here as the breakfast is just awful - no cooked breakfast & what continental there was was awful & cheap brands of cereals used & funny expect that you can check out even 10 minutes later as you either be reminded to leave by the time stated. The cleanliness was bad too especially in the bathroom. The only nice thing was the large room & view but very very over priced for what we got!

Owners were super friendly and helpful. There was a lot of useful information available. The whole place was beautiful with great views and location. Breakfast was also very good. It was a perfect stay.
