"Perfect stay before the Ferry and delicious breakfast."

I arrived late but I let the owner know regarding my late arrival and it was not an issue. I was very well welcomed by Sheila ! The room was very spacious, calm and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable ! I had a perfect night. The shower is huge and the whole bathroom is very clean. In the room there is a kettle with tea, coffee biscuits etc. The view is stunning and the Hotel is on the road to the ferry terminal for Islay, it is very convenient for early ferry. In the morning the breakfast is marvelous, tasty and very copious and freshly cooked by Bruce the owner. After breakfast the owner had a word for everyone. It was a really good way of starting my day. Thank you very much for your hospitality Bruce and Sheila.

"Very comfortable accommodation in a beautiful location."

West Loch House was very clean and comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The owner was friendly and showed me where I could store my bicycle overnight in a locked barn. The location next to West Loch is beautiful and I enjoyed watching the tide ebbing and flowing. My room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. It was a short walk (about 20 minutes) into Tarbert, all on a pavement next to the main road, which was quiet. Tarbert is a nice town with some good places to eat. I enjoyed my meal at Cicchetti-Tarbert - the food was very good and the staff all very friendly. Breakfast at West Loch House was very good.

I thought it was expensive, especially as breakfast was extra. Otherwise, I was very happy staying at West Loch House.

Absolutley stunning location, the property is immaculately clean, I had a lovely big queen room with a huge shower, it was perfect. The breakfast in the morning was superb and delicious, and Shiela was the most wonderful host.
