Friendly welcome at this lovely B & B, with a great breakfast.

Two night stay with my sister and had the best time. The most friendly B&B I have ever stayed in. Can't recommend enough - would love to go back. Comfortable room, lovely breakfast and location in the heart of the village.

The stay was truly perfect.. Very clean and comfortable.. the hosts couldn't do enough, a fab breakfast.. an absolutely amazing break in an idyllic location.. we cannot wait to return

Caroline and Gareth were engaging and welcoming hosts, and they made sure we were comfy. The room was clean and cozy, and the views of Hutton-le-Hole were amazing. Seeing the sheep on the green every morning was so cute. Gareth made a fantastic breakfast, plenty of frshly cooked options, and there were healthy choices too - Caroline was awesome at the front. The Barn Guesthouse is a super cozy country cottage. Definitely recommend it!

As expected in an older cottage, our room wasn't the largest and, as we arrived in the middle of a heatwave, it did get extremely hot (fortunately we brought a desk fan with us). Although the room was spotlessly clean, we did feel the room could do with a little TLC The decor in the bedroom could do with a little updating - maybe some pretty cotton botanical prints and natural fabrics rather than the existing red colour scheme for the curtains, scatter cushions and blankets. The beds are comfortable but the metal frames make for some interesting 'noises' if you don't pull the bed away from the wall! The bathroom is OK but the shower is on the small side and the tiling could possibly do with some regrouting in places and some new sealant around the wash hand basin - small adjustments that would make quite a difference. The room is, however, still charming.

A little noisy at night ,unfortunately single glazed windows ,joys of old buildings..noisy doors , yale locks aren't user friendly .. be nice to have outdoor seating in the sun at evening , not often we get sun i know , but when it's warm don't want to sit in or sit in the shade .. very friendly hardworking staff , this is just my opinion so don't take personally..

The staff were friendly and obliging, the room was clean and comfortable and food was excellent.
