"A wonderful, relaxing stay in the countryside. Highly recommended for either short or long stay."

The country atmosphere and with easy walking to local resturants and pubs. Room was superbly decorated with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. Hosts were friendly and informative of local places of interest. Train station only a 10 minute drive.

Small shower - but this appears to be the norm in the UK.

Husband and son shared the room. They have said everything was great. Breakfast was lovely.

TV on the wall was a bit small esp watching the football apparently.

What an amazing place, and Richard was the best host. He came and introduced himself as we collected the key from the main entrance. The room was beautiful, extremely clean, and furnished beautifully and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was made fresh to order and both the bacon and sausage were amazingly tasty. Fresh brewed coffee and fresh toast too. We will definitely book again as we go to the concerts at Delamere Forest each summer. The setting and grounds are beautiful.

The only complaint was that we hadn't found this place years before.

THE SHOWER IN ROOM 3 WAS EXCELLENT WITH STRONG WATER PRESSURE car parking was good general communications were good Location good near a pub with good food

"A bit disappointing."

The location was good and there were plenty of parking spaces. The free wifi was good.

Our room was pokey. The breakfast menu, which was served to order, looked good, but I was disappointed with the food itself. Poached eggs were overcooked. And the 'smoked' haddock was awful. It didn't appear to be 'smoked' and had undoubtedly been frozen for some time. (And surprisingly a requested bowl of cornflakes arrived with milk already added.)
