Cosy, spacious double room with a bathroom, located near local amenities. There are excellent landscapes nearby for trekking. The Tabernas Desert (more accurately a semi-desert, as there are plenty of shrubs and trees) is a famous filming location used by many spaghetti western directors, including Sergio Leone’s trilogy. There are three film sets to visit, and it is great fun exploring buildings such as the saloon, the sheriff’s office, and the bank. A real gem for spaghetti western enthusiasts. Unfortunately, the Tabernas castle was closed to visitors during my stay due to ongoing restoration work.

Room facing the main road was far too noisy, with traffic and people chatting early in the morning, otherwise it would have been an excellent stay. No one at reception in the morning to ask some questions to.

Mobilier et couettes des chambres vieillots. Douche: 1 carrelage manquant, robinets difficiles à utiliser. Le boîtier de télécommande clim a dû être remplacé 2 fois avant d’en avoir un qui fonctionne. Cloisons fines entre les chambres: on entend ronfler le voisin. Et surtout les couloirs des chambres ne sont pas aérés, ils sentent le tabac et la friture.
