Mykonos Vouniotis Rooms

The perfect location near the city center of Mykonos and the kindness of the staff

The room was comfortable but we saw the lights outside every morning

I recently stayed there for two nights and had a generally positive experience. The room was comfortable, and the location was convenient. The staff was exceptional and very attentive, and the parking facilities were good.

There was one major downside: an unadjustable light inside the room that couldn't be turned off or covered, resulting in excessive illumination throughout the entire space.

The room looked exactly like on the pictures and was very clean. The bathroom is nice and new, which is hard to find on Greek islands. Supermarket is just around the corner which was convenient, an amazing and super cheap bakery is 5 minutes away (you have to take the road down to the center and then turn right uphill).

First, the location is close to a busy street. Walking time to Mykonos town is more or less 10 minutes if you’re fit, but be aware of the lack of pavements, so you will risk your life each time, as the road is narrow and everyone drives there like crazy. We were kind of disappointed with the hospitality, as we wanted to check out a few hours later and they wanted €20 for that (we went in May so almost all rooms were empty). They only let us left our bags in the reception. I guess we were too spoiled by our previous host on Naxos, who let us check out late for free, as it was low season.
