A charming and very helpful host. An excellent breakfast. Convenient location with good access to the main road without being noisy.

Breakfast fantastic inc in price

Lena was an exceptional host. Met us upon arrival and explained things to us carefully and thoughtfully. No traffic noise from the main road, which was good. Dinner was exceptional, as was the home cooked scrambled eggs for breakfast the next morning. A very delightful and pleasant stay!

Friendly folks, attentive. Made to feel welcome

Friendly welcome on arrival and really well looked after on our overnight stay, sadly we arrived late and missed the evening meal, but, if the brilliant, freshly cooked breakfast was anything to go by I feel sure it would have been great. I would definitely recommend Glencarse hotel and we plan on returning later in the year for a further stay.

Very friendly host, good atmosphere (locals come to the adjoining pub), dinner and breakfast delicious. Quite close to Scone Palace, a site not te be missed in this part of Scotland.

The owner was very Kind! The breakfast was very good and well prepared. We stayed here 2 different times during our stay in the area and were delighted both times with the service and cleanliness. It was Lambing season so we were able to enjoy seeing all the baby lambs in the fields all around!
