In het oude centrum van Santiago, dus dicht bij de kathedraal en andere bezienswaardigheden.

Douche en wc waren niet op de kamer. De badkamer hoorde wel bij de kamer, werd alleen door mij gebruikt.

The location. I've stayed 3 years ago with my best friend the forst time I did the Camino de Santiago and the experience was different, that's why I re-booked

Where do I even begin? Although the person who greeted us was friendly, it's not permanently there, nor can he be identified as an employee, as he's wearing tracksuit bottoms and a polo shirt. The entrance to the guesthouse had a strange smell, not rotten but definitely something that was past its expiration date. The room is small, 1 rough and old towel per person, not even a hand/face towel. There is no soap, cup, absolutely nothing. The sheets were worn and frayed, they didn't look washed or ironed. The room is stuffy and obviously there is no air conditioning so the solution is to sleep with the window open and then listen to noise all night of people talking loudly in the street. In the morning we had bites on our legs, arms and neck and we looked in the room for the possible mosquito. After we left I went to google maps and to my disbelief there are numerous reports of bedbugs in the guesthouse, with videos and photos.
