Difficult to fill electric kettle from the sink in Room 8!

Having stayed here a few times nothing changed much over the years .Was in a different room to what i have been in before but ideal as you dont here the the trams going by .The star is ideal close to the town centre and short walk to tram and bus stops to nottingham .Area has a few bars and restraunts close by .Room clean and tidy with tea /coffee also a fan hairdryer small bathroom but ideal and you get an info book

you get some noise from the trams and the pub but nothing major .My only problem was the shower in my room when it warmed up in went red hot and stayed like that wouldnt cool down

Service from the staff. Shower. Bed.

Smell in bathroom. Double glazing instead of single. Blackout curtains.

Wonderfully large room, clean and fresh with everything laid on for a comfortable stay. Well positioned, with good connections to get into Nottingham or visit children at the university. Extremely good vulue for money, with free parking also.

Could do with onsite breakfast options.

Always a quality place to stay
