We received a very warm welcome from Emma. Our room [Quadruple Room with Bathroom] was very large, meticulously clean and very charming. NOTE; There are at least two separate rooms called Quadruple Room with Bathroom offered by Emma's Guesthouse on Booking's website. Photos for both of the rooms, and their shared spaces, were very accurate. In the room: Linens were fresh and clean and plenty of towels were provided. The wi-fi connection was consistently strong and upload and download speeds were very fast. The bed was comfortable and there were two bedside tables. There were also two dressers, two large wardrobes and a small sofa in the room. For us, there were enough power outlets and we found them to be well-placed throughout the room. The private/attached/ensuite bathroom was also clean, bright and featured a large shower which contained the water, so it didn't flood the rest of the floor. There was plenty of hot water throughout the day and evening. The bright, shared kitchen was also very clean and very well stocked with cups, plates, bowls, cutlery and utensils. There was a two-burner gas hot plate with a kettle. The seating area at the table featured two chairs and a lovely view of the garden. We didn't use the kitchen much, only to keep drinks cold in the refrigerator. Note: If you rent one of the quadruple rooms with bathroom, you will not only be sharing the kitchen with any potential guests in the other quadruple room, but you'll also being sharing a living room. The common living room was large, clean, bright and let in a lovely summer breeze through the open window. The view of the garden below and the gorge surrounding Borjomi was beautiful. This room had two sofas, two chairs, tables and a television. Sadly, this shared living room caused us a few unpleasant nights with far too many unnecessary sleep interruptions - more on that below.

Depending on the courteousness of other guests in the adjacent quadruple room, you may indeed sleep well - the entire property can be very, very peaceful if all guests are behaving properly and considerately. Sadly, our neighbors next door used the shared living area right outside our door very late into the night on two nights. There were several young children who stomped around rather loudly until after midnight, dragging chairs across the hardwood floor and playing videos at a high volume while the adults conversed over the noise of the young ones, - this all happened in the shared living room directly outside the door to our room. These other guests indeed knew we were renting the room next to them but perhaps assumed we were still out for the night and not trying to sleep instead. Either way, their complete lack of courtesy for others made us come to the conclusion that this common area between the quadruple rooms may not always be suitable for guests looking for a more peaceful stay. One child even put his face against the privacy glass of the door to our room, which was totally uncalled for. I really dislike mentioning these instances but it's best to leave a warning to anyone thinking of renting one of the two quadruple rooms. Were we just unlucky during our stay? Maybe.

Excellent home stay with airy rooms, comfortable kitchen, beautiful views from the windows, cute garden, and nice owners. Bit of uphill/downhill comes as extra boost for health or as a cardio exercise. Definitely recommend!
