Castrum Vendégház

An interesting place with a bar onsite and a bowling alley. We are travelling on bicycles and were able to keep our bike secure in the garage. A lovely young girl helped us with checkin as the owner was not onsite when we arrived. We had a short walk to find a restaurant for dinner. The room had good air conditioning and single beds that were comfy. No English channels on the TV which made it difficult to sit and relax in the evening as it was too hot to do much else.

It was slow getting into the property as the place was locked up even though it was after check in time. I sent a message through the booking.com app and then we sat in the gutter and waited for about 30mins. Other than that everything was fine.

Big parking area and nice garden, friendly stuff and location easy to find

nothing at all.

we selected this one to get some sleep during road-trip so we didn’t have much expectations. overall it was clean and relatively comfortable. Worth remembering that it is pretty far away from Budapest. the staff was really helpful and checked us in at night even though we were a little late for the official check in hours.

there was no soap in the bathroom! the place was completely empty the day we stayed there, so I suppose the price is not appealing enough to convince people.
