Glenholme Guest House - Room Only

The property is in a perfect location for the open air theatre and the property itself is immaculately clean and has lovely little unexpected touches. The hosts are exceptional and provide excellent customer service. Julie rang me the day before our stay to inform me the room would be ready at lunch time and provide instructions on parking and key safe. Upon arrival Julie & Mikael were extremely helpful and friendly. The property also has a lovely courtyard area. The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully decorated and we had everything to hand including an iron and ironing board outside the room. Well done Julie and Mikael your pride and passion for your guesthouse is evident.

Well maintained and tastefully furnished older style property. High ceilings giving a sense of space even in the small single room. Everything required was provided and more. Shared lounge area and garden for guest use. Everything has been thought of with some great finishing touches. Close to the station, town and beaches. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Julie and Mikael were so welcoming. The accommodation was so clean and presentable. The amenities were amazing. I don't drink hot drinks but thought the hot drinks take away cups were a lovely touch.

It was a very hot day when I visited so the room was warm but the fan provided helped

I booked as some friends were staying here. Great communication before and follow up. Lovely rooms. Very comfortable. Lovely touch having a fridge in the room, coffee machine and well stocked. They don't offer breakfast but we knew that and it gave us a nice opportunity to support a local business too. I would stay again. The courtyard garden was a sun trap. Could have quite happily dozed off a few times sitting out.

The walk up the 2 flights of stairs after my ultra. The water pressure in the shower could have been stronger.

A very clean room. Extremely comfortable bed. Parking space. Excellent communication from Julie & Mikael, who are such a lovely welcoming couple. The little extras make all the difference like the mini fridge with water & milk was appreciated. Perfect location for the Open Air Theatre just up the hill.

The hotel was situated in the perfect location for our needs. We were attending a concert close by. It was a very warm weekend and a fan was provided which was very welcomed. The fridge in the room was stocked with water and there were plenty of little touches that we appreciated. it was a home away from home

The only thing that I would suggest is a bit more power in the shower.

The hosts were fabulous. Very kind thoughtful. Great communication. Let us know where we could eat locally. Highly recommend this guest house. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Very very clean.

Very friendly hosts. Comfortable and welcoming. Close to everything we needed (we was coming to Scarborough for a concert and open air).

The location was perfect for the open air theatre, the room was super modern and the house was really well decorated with lots of places to chill inside and out. Julie and Mikael were incredibly welcoming and there was lots of nice touches including a fan in the room and water chilling in the fridge with multiple glasses and to go coffee cups.
