Aperto Apartments

Very friendly and helpful hosts. We were informed of transport connections and recommendations of restaurants near by. Transfers to and from the port were also organised for us on request. The main town is accessible by 15 min walk downhill, but a bus or taxi is definitely recommended back up to the apartments! Buses run from the old port to Ano Mera every 30 minutes (€1.80pp). The apartments were ideal for our 2 night stay! We would definitely stay again.

Stunning little studio with everything you need and more. The location was great, with just a 10\15 minute walk to the old town and fabrica station where you can take buses all around the island. There's also a good supermarket and coffee place just minutes away which are super useful as getting either from the town will break the bank. The owner was also very nice and helpful, offering to keep our bags after checkout.

Carmen, our host, is exceptional. She doesn’t speak English very fluently but is amazing in communicating 🥰 The apartment we rented at Aperto was the last one, with a table at the front varanda. Extremely clean, quite new. I had rented a car and the parking was great: very easy to come and go and inside the complex. The location of Aperto is perfect! Cause it is close to “downtown Mykonos” but it is not crowded as it is there, with a local business area with everything we need nearby. We had two of our meals just crossing the street: Domino’s and Crepe Lovers where we got 10% discount for being guests at Aperto. In our second day, we had a problem with “ant attack” but as soon as we informed Carmen she was super fast in solving it immediately. We were 3 people at the apartment: me, a friend, and my 4 year old daughter. We loved it and highly recommend to everyone coming to Mykonos that is searching for a fair price.

There could be a warning (at the paper at the main door) for not keeping food outside of the fridge. I had this one peace of bread in a plastic bag, nicely folded, which I left at the balcony next to the sink and as we woke up the next morning there were thousands of ants!!! If we knew that could happen I could easily had put the bread inside the fridge…

The property was clean and perfect for our stay. The owner is super nice and really helpfull. Her aunt took us to another part of the island since we needed a ride.

The personal of the apartament was really kind. I like the apartament. It cleaned and there was all the necessary thinks to live there. In particular I really like the shower because it was big and confortable.

Clean and well decorated. Perfect for short stop. It has mosquito nets to protect from mosquitos.

The external door clinks when there is wind. It’s a bit bothering during the night
