Η Ανωγειανή φιλοξενία στα καλύτερα της!! Η κυρία Βαγγελιώ σε κάνει να αισθάνεσαι σα στο σπίτι σου! Πολύ καθαρός ο χώρος και δίπλα σε κεντρικά σημεία των Ανωγείων! Θα το ξαναπροτιμήσω σίγουρα!

Evangelina, the proprietor, is a darling older woman who speaks little or no English and still wears traditional black clothes. The rooms are above her own house, which adds a specialness to the experience. The balcony outside our room looked out over mountainous terrain, where you can hear the bells of sheep clanking, and offered perhaps the best sunset of our entire trip.

It really helps to learn a little Greek if you're coming to this proud village. We studied for months and actually had to use what we could remember.

Simple, clean accommodations with a wonderful view over the countryside. The bathroom was functional and clean, but small. Very friendly proprietress (spoke no English) who was happy to show off her embroidery and weaving work.

Nice, friendly hostess. Beautiful surroundings. It's close to Idaeon andron.

There are too few electrical wall sockets in the room -- considering the number of devices people carry around these days.

We only stayed one night, but it was an unforgettably beautiful night. We were so warmly welcomed by the lady of the house (Evangelia, Ευαγγελία?) with apples, sultanas and raki as you only know it from Greece. Although with only a rudimentary knowledge of Greek, we had so much fun with her and also bought some home-woven rugs. The room is quiet and comfortable and has a priceless view from the balcony. We will definitely be back!
