Location was perfect, the surprise (or lack of research) was the historical value of the oldest house in the area and the owners (original family descendant) enthusiasm and knowledge, really wish it was not a flying visit.

I could have stayed longer

Das reichhaltige Frühstück in gemütlicher Atmosphäre und die äußerst nette Anna sind wirklich nicht zu toppen.

Wir wohnten im Innenhof, das Quartier war leider düster und trotz Heizung ziemlich kalt, da es beständig unter der Tür hindurch zog. Für die Kleidung gab es nur eine Art Garderobe und keinen Schrank, aber da wir nur zwei Nächte blieben war das weniger schlimm. Ohne Schuhe umherlaufen oder barfuß in die Dusche war nicht möglich, da der Fußboden eiskalt war. Auch an erholsamen Schlaf war nicht zu denken, da das Bett ein Metallgestell hatte und jede Bewegung mit lautem Quietschen quittierte. Ich bin wirklich nicht empfindlich, aber ich war froh dass wir nur zwei Nächte hier verbringen mussten.

The hostess, Anna, was very hospitable and it was a bonus to have breakfast included with greek yogurt, honey and bolied eggs. The house is very old and characterful. It was perfect place to stay the night before tackling the climb up Olympus.

The room ligjhting was not very bright but not a big deal.

The hospitality was absolutely beautiful, letting me know upon arrival about the love she has for her grandfather's house, hiking and making me feel as comfortable as possible. Breakfast felt like I was a guest in someone's home 🩷
